Yes! During the Proctored Exam Testing Period, you will be able to take your DEDP Proctored Exam at any time convenient to you.
Historically, the Proctored Exam Testing Period has been a window of one week, occurring simultaneously for all DEDP course sessions running in a term.
If you are taking more than one DEDP course on the Verified (Paid) enrollment track in a single term, you will need to find time during the Proctored Exam Testing Period window to complete all of the Proctored Exams. While learners were previously able to decide for each course, at the end of a course session, whether to take the Proctored Exam right away or to postpone it until a future term, this is no longer possible.
From September 2022 onwards, payments for DEDP courses are tied to a specific course session, and once you submit payment for a DEDP course session, you must sit for the Proctored Exam at the end of that course session—and only that course session. For more information, please refer to this FAQ article.
Please also note: It is only possible to take the Proctored Exam for a specific DEDP course once per term. If you wish to re-take a course's Proctored Exam, you will need to re-enroll in a future course session and submit payment to upgrade to the Verified (Paid) enrollment track to sit for the Proctored Exam again at the end of that future term.
