In the past, the Data, Economics, and Design of Policy (DEDP) MicroMasters Program made use of the MITx MicroMasters Portal Dashboard (found at https://micromasters.mit.edu/dashboard/) for several features, and many longtime DEDP learners remain comfortable with the Portal Dashboard.
However, the MicroMasters Portal Dashboard is no longer used by the DEDP MicroMasters Program. While the Portal Dashboard is still available (it is utilized by other MITx MicroMasters Programs), DEDP MicroMasters learners should not use the Portal Dashboard (with one exception, see below).
Do Not Use the MicroMasters Portal Dashboard to:
- Enroll in or manage enrollment in DEDP courses
- Check your DEDP course scores (for courses taken on MITx Online)
- Access your DEDP Course Certificates
- Access your DEDP Program Credential
- Access your DEDP MicroMasters Program Record
Instead, use these methods:
- Enroll in DEDP MicroMasters courses from their course pages on MITx Online. Find DEDP course pages via the MITx Online Course Catalog
- Check your DEDP course scores either via the "Progress Tab" within each course on MITx Online or via your DEDP Program Record, found in the "My Programs" section of your MITx Online Dashboard
- Access your DEDP course certificates either directly from your MITx Online Dashboard or via your DEDP Program Record
- Access your DEDP program credential via your DEDP Program Record on MITx Online
The MicroMasters Portal Dashboard does not reliably and consistently display accurate and correct information about DEDP MicroMasters course sessions running after October 2021. This also means that learners cannot enroll in courses using the Portal Dashboard. The portions of the MicroMasters Portal Dashboard linked to the DEDP MicroMasters Program are being phased out and retired. Consequently, we can no longer support those portions of the MicroMasters Portal Dashboard.
Important Exception: Learners who participated in DEDP MicroMasters courses before October 2021, on the edX.org platform, must still use the MicroMasters Portal Dashboard, as this is the only way for them to access information about course scores for those course sessions.
