No, using two or more accounts to complete the DEDP courses is not allowed. Each learner is required to have a single MITx Online ID, which includes a unique username and email account, that must be used consistently across all five courses.
Using multiple accounts is considered a violation of the honor code and is considered cheating. Academic honesty is of utmost importance, and any suspicious activity will be closely monitored. If any such activity is detected, appropriate actions will be taken, which may include removing course credit, preventing proctored exam registration, withholding the award of a MicroMasters certificate, revoking a previously awarded MicroMasters certificate, banning you from future MITx courses, and even excluding you from consideration for admission to the MIT Master's Program in Data, Economics, and Design of Policy. These actions may be taken without prior warning.
For more information about the honor code and its implications, please refer to the specific FAQ section about the honor code within each course or review the MITx Online Honor Code.
