Yes, learners are welcome to repeat a course. The DEDP program allows and encourages learners to take the courses as many times as they wish to achieve their target course score. There is no penalty for repeating a DEDP course.
Your DEDP program record will likewise only display the highest scores you achieve. If you retake a DEDP course but do not earn a higher score than you have already achieved, your Program Record will not change. If you retake a DEDP course and earn a higher score, then your Program Record will change to reflect the higher score.
Please note: Individual assignments, exercises, and quiz scores cannot be carried over to a future course session. Your cumulative coursework score can be carried over (for example, a cumulative coursework score of 92% can be carried over to a future term). The course team will provide instructions on how to carry over a previously earned coursework score. If you want to re-take a course to earn a higher coursework score, you will need to complete all of that course's assignments and assessments again; you cannot simply re-do only the assignments that you missed in a previous session.
If you have submitted payment for a DEDP course, your payment entitles you to one attempt at the Proctored Exam for that course. Your Proctored Exam attempt is valid during the term in which you purchased the course (exceptions can be made for extenuating circumstances). You would be required to submit payment again if you wished to re-attempt the Proctored Exam in a future term.
