No. MITx Online Course Certificates do not display the final grade you achieved in the course, and do not display any number of credit hours.
Earning an MITx Online Course Certificate signifies that you have completed and passed the course on the Verified/Certificate enrollment track. The certificate acknowledges your achievement in attaining proficiency in the course's subject matter and successful completion of the course requirements.
Scores/Grades
Your final course score/grade—along with other course information—is accessible via your MITx Online Dashboard after the course session has ended. A comprehensive record of your scores for all coursework and assessments is available within your course's Courseware, on the Progress page. If you require a record of your performance in a course, you may utilize your web browser's print functionality to obtain a printed copy of this page.
Credit Hours
MITx Online Course Certificates do not indicate any number of credit hours associated with the course, because MITx Online program and courses do not carry any academic credit on their own.
MicroMasters Programs
Some programs offered via the MITx Online platform—MicroMasters Programs—offer learners who complete the program requirements the opportunity to apply for admission to graduate programs at select institutions of higher learning around the world. These institutions and programs have partnered with MITx MicroMasters to offer admitted learners pathways to achieve a full graduate degree more quickly than usual, by granting academic credit for the online courses completed as part of the MicroMasters Program or waiving some requirements of the graduate program.
