Unfortunately, it is not possible to offer any extensions of the Payment Deadline for DEDP course sessions. If you miss the Payment Deadline for a DEDP term, then you will not be able to submit payment to upgrade to the Verified (Paid) status. This means that you will not be able to sit for the course's Proctored Exam at the end of the course session, and you will not be able to earn the MicroMasters Course Certificate during that term. You will need to wait for a future offering of that course in order to take the course's Proctored Exam.
However, we encourage you to continue taking the course—even if you miss the Payment Deadline. The DEDP Program allows learners to earn a coursework score and then submit payment during a future term in which the course is offered to take the Proctored Exam and earn the MicroMasters Course Certificate.
